Website Development focuses on building a personal site that actually feels like you—and works like it should. This elective teaches students how to design and launch a clean, strategic portfolio using platforms like Squarespace. You’ll learn to structure your site for clarity and impact, covering homepage hierarchy, project pages, navigation, and mobile optimization. Beyond templates, the class dives into the details that elevate a site: typography, pacing, and subtle interactions that keep people engaged. You’ll also engage in light, practical coding that give your site a more polished, custom feel without overcomplicating the build. Most importantly, this class pushes you to infuse your personality into the work. Not just what you show, but how you show it—your voice, your point of view, your taste. By the end of the 5 weeks you’ll have a clear direction for your site, and the ability to implement it!
